Summary
A true adrenaline junkie, Proof loves anything that gives him a thrill. He started racing motorcycles when he was a kid, and entered the U.S. Superbike circuit at 19. After a series of reckless maneuvers, Proof was ruled responsible for a crash that ended the career of one of the other racers and was handed a five-year suspension.
Proof shares the same role as the other protagonists in story mode. This individual was once the champion of the underground fighting circuit and, at one point, met and eventually dated Angel, who performed at the clubs he fought in. This all changed when local mob boss and businessman, D-Mob, entered the circuit. D-Mob started to make changes to the circuit and assembled a loyal group of followers to safeguard his territory. Apparently, Proof did not want to fall under this conformity and had rebelled against it. This prompts D-Mob to come up with a scheme to get rid of him, he does this by seducing Angel with promises of fame and fortune and dangling a record contract for her. These angers Proof enough to challenge D-Mob to a fight, resulting in Proof's defeat and being chased out of town. Three years later, prior to the events of Def Jam Vendetta, Manny beckons him back into the circuit, after losing a lot of bets. At first, he returns to help his friend, but later he has his eyes set on earning back everything he lost. After the defeat of D-Mob, he and Angel leaves the arena and possibly the circuit for good.
